William's Seventh Birthday Challenge

As hard as it is to believe, the baby we last saw in "William" is now quite a big boy. So our challenge is to write about his birthday now that he's old enough to attend elementary school.

Challenge Elements:

- Set your fic on May 20th, 2008 (or begin there if you'd like to cover a span of time instead of a day)

- Seven-year-olds have relationships with others, so have another child of your creation - a friend, relative, neighbor, classmate etc - be some part of the day's big events for William. Or if you prefer, you can have the other child be one we saw on the show, or Will's unnamed cousin mentioned in "Home."

- Seven-year-olds are also into whimsy, so have William make a wish.

** If you wrote a fic for his fifth birthday, feel free to either revisit the story you started then, or write something unrelated.

If you intend to include any spoilers from the second X-Files movie in your fic, please make sure you include this information in the headers of your fic. You're welcome to include speculation for the new movie in your fics, but there needs to be a warning for people avoiding spoilers until the movie comes out.
