I like the folks at my post office, really I do. They're very helpful if you're trying to do something new - like send a package to South Korea, or if you've just forgotten how to send a certified letter. The mail carriers seem like nice women too.

But something happens every January. Something bad. After the Christmas rush it seems as though packages are collected, locked up, and all the mail carriers go off to Disneyworld. I don't know. All I do know is that it takes longer to get packages then than ever. 

Today I got two packages, and I couldn't even remember what I ordered. I'm still waiting for a sweater I ordered on the 18th to come in...

Last year I bought my dad a subscription to netflix. He had a hell of a time with it in January - it was taking 7 to 9 days for movies to turn over, even though netflix swore they'd sent new ones out immediately. Upon their recommendation he went to a post office out of town instead to drop them off. Movies only took 2 days to reach netflix after that.

Nice people like I said. I'm just wondering what they've done with my sweater and season one of Supernatural that ought to have come by now.
