I seriously considered voting a straight ticket, but then I found out that a coworker is making another attempt to get elected as a state rep. So she's my token Democrat  If the challenger for governor had been a dem, I'd of voted for him/her too since my SOP is to always vote against the incumbent. We haven't had a decent governor since I've been old enough to vote, so I don't want any of those bums to stay in office.

I'm interested in seeing the election results, but I don't think I'm going to stay up very late to find them out. Man, I remember saying up during the 2000 election until 3am waiting for results...can you imagine staying awake then like I originally thought I would? No sleep for a month would have lead to hallucinations, for sure. But anyway, my prediction is that Republicans won't lose nearly as badly as polls would have you believe. I figure more people are willing to take a few seconds to respond to an online poll than actually get their asses to the poll. We shall see.

In other news, I have yet to fall behind in my nano writing. It'll happen soon, though, I can feel it.
