Entry for September 2, 2006 - Great titles, but...
Some songs have the best titles. But when you listen to the actual songs, they kind of suck. Think about that. Here's a partial list of ones I consider this way: Motion City Soundtrack - Let's Get Fucked Up And Die East River Pipe - What Does TS Eliot Know Conelrad - Power For Fucking Half-Handed Cloud - Feed Your Sheep A Burning Lamp Illinois-The Man of Metropolis Steals Our Hearts Hot Hot Heat - Oh, Goddamnit Liars - Tumbling Walls Buried Me In Life In Bed - Last Night In Candyland No One Goes Home - It's Not Me, It's You Oranger - Crooked in the Weird of the Catacombs Spoon - The Beast And Dragon, Adored Panic! At The Disco - Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off We Are Scientists - This Scene Is Dead Zykos - Understanding Fire All of those come from songs I've gotten recently from streaming audio and have rejected. I'm sure there are tons more on the "MP3s I don't Like" disks. There's something telling about my saving them to disks rather than deleting them, though, isn't there? Hmmm. 2006-09-03 03:39:39 GMT
