Surprising things that fit in a compact, hatchback car:

- a seven foot long air hockey table

- a "live" 6.5' Christmas tree (they die when you cut them, right?)

- shelving up six and a half feet long.

- many several (filled) 18 gallon plastic containers

- a twenty-one inch TV, in box

- a twenty-seven inch TV, sans packing materials which were stored seperately  in the trunk

These things are surprising merely because they fit entirely inside the vehicle, nothing hanging out of the back. I won't claim that everything was an easy fit, especially the air hockey table, but I got them in there. The tree was the most surprising fit, for the record.

Imagine what I could cram into a four door sedan!
