SANDARA PARK
Sandara Park might as well compare her life to a fairy tale. She
claims that everything that is happening in her life right now make
her feel like she is her favorite fairy tale character, Cinderella.
"Imagine, when I first went to ABS-CBN in a taxi to audition for the
Star Circle Quest, the guard didn't want me to go inside. Mabuti, a
good Samaritan came to my rescue," she relates.
"Nang napasali naman ako sa contest, lalong hirap ang aking dinanas.
Pinipintasan nila akong 'di marunong umarte.
"But thank God, I persevered. Likewise, I want to thank those who
continue to believe in me from the start for their support. I will
never forget them," she continued.
Now, everytime Sandara reports to her work in ABS-CBN, where she has
her own show, "Sandara's Romance," the guards do not just welcome
her, they sometimes even salute her. She now has a Starex, a gift
from the Korean Embassy, to take her to and from her numerous
commitment.
Last Monday, Sandara realized her wish to work with one of her
favorite actors, Aga Muhlach. She guested in the top sitcom, "OK,
Fine! Whatever," which Aga topbills along with Bayani Agbayani and
Edu Manzano.
In the episode, she played the daughter of Edu's best friend. While
Edu is supposedly away, he entrusts her to Aga and Bayani, who kept
a close eye on her.
To put one over Aga and Bayani, she seeks the help of her friends,
Hero Angeles, Roxanne Ginoo and Joross Gamboa. Pandemonium ensues as
the group tries to get past Aga, who obviously "smelled" what
they're up to.
"But I must say it was a pleasure working with Aga. Naging mabait
siya sa amin. Pati na rin sina Edu at Bayani," said Sandara.
