Hero & Sandara �quest� for each other�s heart in �Because of You�
Popular young stars Hero Angeles and Sandara Parks are being paired for the first time on the big screen and
this is via the Star Cinema romantic and heartwarming trilogy "Because of You."
The movie, which will cater of course to young fans, is being tagged as a novelty trilogy in that three
separate stories connect and become one under the helm of John-D Lazatin, Cathy Garcia-Molina and Mae Cruz,
with Mel del Rosario as scriptwriter.
The movie comes at the right time, in the wake of the immense popularity being enjoyed by the Star Circle
grand questors and love team mate Hero and Sandara who will "quest" for each other�s heart in "Because of You."
Ever since they became the Star Circle grand questors (after enduring nasty remarks and later earning the approval
of the jurors) Hero and Sandara have been frequently partnered. They now rule over after television with "SCQ Reload."
We came to know Hero up close during the presscon of "Because of You" at ABS-CBN, and we found out why he clicks with
young fans: He is humble, simple and unaffected. He is really named Hero (by her mother he said) and in fact, his two
brothers has names beginning with "H" one of them is Henry who acts as Hero�s manager.
Hero is a senior college student and he intends to finish his studies no matter how busy he is in his showbiz career.
He did not confirm any relationship with Sandara but he knows that their fans would like the two of them to be close.
It seems everybody now knows all about the 20-year-old Hero and the nineteener Sandara after watching their life
stories unfold in the biographical drama series "Maalaala Mo Kaya."
In "Because of You," they get to play characters just as colorful as their own. Hero plays Louie, a business minded
"tourist guide" who learned about life from the school of hard knocks. He never lets anyone get ahead of him on just
about anything that spells money. When he accidentally meets April (played of course by Sandara), he just cannot avert
his eyes from her. She�s a Korean girl who is supposed to meet her Filipina mother in Manila,but who doesn�t show up!
Almost penniless and virtually homeless, she impresses Louie by funnily making up stories: What a big soap opera star
she is in Korea, financially loaded, plus an affluent family she has. But just when their acquaintance is leading to
comfort and to "something closer," more lies must cover one lie. Will Louie find out about April? Will two individuals
from different worlds find home in each other�s arms?
In another episode of the movie, Hero and Sandara co-stars with Diether Ocampo and Kristine Hermosa; and in third,
with Heart Evangelista and Geoff Eigenmann. Kristine is Ria, and Diether is RJ and they are planning a future together
and to help out RJ sells his most prized possession, a l975 red Volkswagen bettle. But before they could get married,
something happens. A loveless lady, Cara (Heart) is the new owner of beetle but one day the car breaks down.
She meets Roni (Geoff) who helps in the repair of the car.
