that radiant light of the day
hand in hand
along with me. Instead I
left it behind somewhere in the sky.
Should have brought
the dreams that bloomed in sleep,
safe in the eyes.
Should have brought
those wax like lips,
pasted on the front of my face.
Should have brought
the innocent light that glowed in the eyes
without letting it ooze away.
In the body were
lumps of flesh
resplendent as a rhododendron,
swaying with the wind,
left behind with footprints.
The skin was like a bouquet of flowers
dropped somewhere on the way.
Ah, nothing has arrived here safely.
Left behind is the castle of entire riches.
Arrived along is
either a biting cold
or a scorching heat.
Arrived along is
either a malicious darkness,
or a glaring light.
Deserted by all darling moments,
the haunted house that
stands in an alien land of misbalance,
is being guarded by a flickering heart,
and a youthful mirage.
