Buckeye Basketball
What a great year for the Buckeyes! Not even ranked in the Pre-Season Top 25, the Bucks finished 26-6 overall, 12-4 in the Big Ten, won the Big Ten Regular Season Title, Earned a #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and made it to the Round of 32 in that Tournament. Amazing! In addition to the team accolades, Thad Matta was named coach of the year in the Big Ten and Terrance Dials was chosen as the Big Ten's Most Valuable Player! Wow! To top all of that off, the Buckeye's are expected to be a top 10 team next year with the addition of Gred Oden and others (see below). For the final statistics of this season, keep reading and I promise to update this page regularly! Enjoy and GO BUCKS!!!

Greg Oden Chooses the Buckeyes!!!
As great as the 2005/06 season was, the 06/07 season looks to be even better. During this past season, High School Player of the Year Greg Oden committed to play for the Buckeyes following his senior season. Oden is 7-0, 250 lbs of pure athletic ability. He will step right into the starting lineup, following the departure of senior Terrance Dials. Even if he only stays for one year, as expected, Oden will put the Buckeyes on his back and see just how far he can carry them. Go Bucks!
