Arctic Wolf
The Arctic Wolf is a subspecies of the grey wolf.  It inabits some of the world most inhospitable places in the world; tundra, glacier valleys and ice fields.  This animal can tolerate conditions consistently below zero with the ground almost continually frozen.  They can grow 3-6 feet in length and weigh as much as 175 lbs.  The Arctic Wolf has a keen sense of smell and hearing.  They prey on lemmings, caribou, arctic hare and musk ox. 
Timber Wolf
The Timber Wolf is the largest of the subspecies of grey wolf.  Found throughout the Rocky Mountains to the Great Lakes.  They can mostly be found in prairies and forests.  The color ranges from mostly white to mostly black but most are greyish.  These wolves hunt small mammals , deer and caribou.
