Piccolo is a Namekian fighter. He hatched from an egg which was spit out of the evil King Piccolo. At first he is very strict, but Gohan teaches him to have a little fun. Piccolo plays an important role in DBZ. He has often saved Gohan from energy blasts and other attacks. He helps Goku beat Raditz and ultimately kills them both with a special beam cannon. He is even the strongest of the Z fighters right after he fused with Kame.
