Prologue
One day, Lady Zera was seen strolling across the fields.
“Hey Pyrus” she said, “wait for me.” As Pyrus
waited for her to catch up, he noticed something strange. They were
walking on a strip of moss.
“Planet Bone?” he said, as he looked up. But the sky was
a beautiful clear blue, like that of Planet Ice. “What is going
on here?” he asked Zera, as she stopped beside him.
“You are dying,” she said matter-of-factly. “Goodbye.”
Aurora
“No, wait!” Pyrus awoke with a jerk. Jade, who was passing
by, looked at him oddly.
“Are you all right, Pyrus?” she asked “Why are you
in the middle of the hall at this hour?”
“I guess I must have been sleep-walking...hey! Why are YOU here?”
Jade turned a rather interesting shade.
“That is none of your business, now get back to bed this INSTANT!”
As Pyrus returned to his room, Graveheart emerged from the shadows.
“Well, that was close. I think you’d better go back to
your room.”
“If you say so,” said Jade and, with a provocative smile,
grasped Graveheart’s... *ahem* wrist.
“That’s not quite what I meant...” Graveheart’s
voice trailed off as he was led into Jade’s room.
