~ MUSH'S GOOD MORNING, AND EVEN BETTER NIGHT...Ever notice how Mush is the only guy in the whole lodging house that is cheerful in the morning? All the guys are walking around moaning and yawning, while Mush laughs up a storm at Jack's 'On me back' joke. We were wondering about this. It's a big lodging house. Only ONE morning person? But when we heard Mush sing, "Met dis goil last night!", it all became clear. When asked to comment, Mush had only this to say (as his face turned crimson), "Mind yer own business!" Hmm...We'll leave it at that.
~ WEASEL'S BOOGER FINGER COMES OUT IN THE OPEN...We all agree that Weasel is disgusting. Not only is he disgusting as a whole, but his various parts are disgusting as well. For instance, his finger. When Jack inquires about the jack-up in the prices, Weasel takes his nasty finger and sticks it in his disgusting mouth and then pulls it out to dry the slime off. We believe that Weasel was picking nose (what else is he going to do, no one was buying papes), when he noticed Jack approaching the counter. To hide the evidence, Weasel swiftly stuck the finger in his mouth and then pulled it out, as if to test the air. When asked about this occurrence Weasel replied, "I was merely testing the air to confirm my suspicions as to whether or not the day was nice."
~ GAY LOVERS COME OUT OF THE CLOSET...Okay, during HTHT, just as Snyder is walking through the door, you see two newsies, one sitting, one standing behind him. We've decided that these are two gay lovers. The stander puts his hand on the sitter's shoulder, and they look lovingly into one another's eyes. Not a, "hey, she's pretty hot," look, but an, "I LOVE you, man!" look. I don't know if you can see this in the regular version. We were watching wide screen.
~ When they're singing, "Who asked you," only two of the four guys that sing it were actually involved in the conversation. So really, who asked THEM!?
~ Crutchy is pretty mobile for a guy who needs a crutch. After talking to Jack about needing a new selling spot, he stands there for a second, then runs around the wash stand in enough time to insult Blink. Then he runs back in time to tell Boots to move his elbow.
~ We've decided that Crutchy must have been in a bad mood that morning. First he tells Specs and Blink to stop their bawling (butting his nose into their business). Then he goes to a lot of trouble to insult Blink AGAIN about the way he smells. Like Crutchy's business smells like roses? THEN, he goes to yell at Boots about hogging the wash tub. Boots was there FIRST!! Crutchy just hopped there a split second before he yells, so he wasn't even
waiting very long.
~ During KONY, everytime Blink has a solo, he turns to look at Snitch, and they do a little bonding thing. When Blink says the mayor's daughter line, he turns to Snitch and kind of hits him with a, "you know what I'm talking about!" look. Then with the 'making the headline out of a hunch!' he does it again! It was cute.
~ During CTB when the camera scans the guys right before the Delancys come, you can see Skittery and Specs and Dutchy. Anyway, they're just being really cute. *Sigh* Skittery gets hit by Snipeshooter's legs as Itey spins him around. Then Specs tries to beat Skittery up, and just as Skittery gets away from that, Dutchy comes and puts him in a head lock. Too cute!
