October 2002
Well this month has been fun and exciting. A few days before Halloween I went and picked up Sarah, with my mom, to take her to the store and buy her an outfit to go trick-or-treat in with me. Sarah is a little girl, who is 7, she is the daughter of one of my uncles friends. Her mom and dad don't really take her out to do anything, not even trick or treating. So, every year I take her trick or treating. Sarah loves to spend time with me. We went to Wal-mart and found an orange and black stripped cat/tiger outfit for her to wear, and got the make up to paint her face and match the outfit. I went as a cow (I tried and tried to find a Star Trek uniform to wear trick-or-treating, with no luck!). After we got her costume, we went out to eat at Hosses Steak House. Sarah really enjoyed that. It was fun to go and do something like that with her. She's a very sweet little girl.

I've been miserable all month. I've had an abscessed wisdom tooth the entire month, but finally on Halloween I got it pulled out. I had been to the doctor about it, and he had me on antibiotics 2 different times to get the infection cleared up first before getting it pulled out. I made an appointment to go see my dentist about it. I thought that when I seen my dentist he would schedule for me to have it taken out, but to my suprise he pulled out the needle with numbing stuff, and numbed it up all around my wisdom tooth, and pulled it out. Well, he had to tug some what to get it to come out, but he got it all out in one piece. It was really kind of scary, atleast it didn't hurt when he did it. It only hurt for an instant when he was numbing the area up all around my wisdom tooth. After words they had me bite down on a stack of gauze to stop the bleeding, and they said to keep it in there for an hour or so. My mouth didn't start to throb till later on when the numbing stuff wore off.
I still felt good enough to still go trick or treating, even after having my wisdom tooth pulled out. I wasn't feeling the greatest really when we went trick or treating. I was sweating alot, and very very hot. All that make-up on my face, and the long sleeved clothes, underneath the long sleeved cow out-fit really made me hot. We walked alot to go from house to house. At first it was okay, but then I started sweating and that just made me colder, and then hotter. After we were done trick-or-treating we went to McDonalds and we drove through and got Sarah a happy meal for dinner. We drove to my uncles house real quick to go through the candy, check it over, make sure it was all okay, and let Sarah eat her food. After words we took her back home. She would have like to stay with me. I went home and crawled into bed, with my face throbbing where my wisdom tooth use to be, but no longer was. All that remained was the 'hole' in the far back corner of my Gums.
