UPDATE 2(May 27, 2001)
Well I finally got a copy of my CAT scan. It said that it showed a large henia(but we already knew about that!), and a cystic lesion. I spoke to a few online friends that are nurses and they said not to worry about it, probably could be some scar tissue. I seen my surgeon May 7th. They scheduled me for a barium test, then had to re-schedule it again. Its set for June 4th. The surgeon scheduled my surgery for June 19th, 2001.
SURGERY DATE CHANGED TO JUNE 12TH!!
The surgeons want me to be off the prednisone before they do the surgery. That sucks, but I guess its for the best! Right now I'm down to 15mg of prednisone a day, and dealing with the withdrawl sometimes is hard because it makes my head hurt alot. I might call my surgeons office tommarow because the hernia is getting alot bigger, and it is causing my stoma to be pushed out alot more than it was before. I'm up to 100 on the duragesic patch. I just wish the docs would have given me pain meds to take when I need them, not wear a pain patch all the time! I would love to hear from anyone while I'm in the hospital, or if you want to send me a card (which I would absolutely LOVE) please e-mail me! So if you'd like to call me while I'm in the hospital, I would love it!! I'll be so lonely!!!!I like Mcdonalds gift certificates, too! LOL
