A Brief History...


2nd week of February 1985
KKIS or "Keluarga Katolik Indonesia di Singapura" (The Fellowship of Indonesian Catholics in Singapore) was founded.

17 February 1987
REKIS or "Remaja Katolik Indonesia di Singapura" was formed as a part of KKIS.
It served as a fellowship of Indonesian Catholic youths in Singapore.

12 March 1995
The name "Mudika-KKIS" was coined.
Since then, "Mudika-KKIS" has been used in place of "REKIS".

24 May 1997
A picture of Jesus Christ on the Cross, surrounded by a triangular metallic blue frame, was chosen as Mudika-KKIS' logo.

24 January 1999
For the first time Mudika-KKIS had a complete board with a chief and several coordinators overseeing various issues and committees.
Kurniawan Kasudarman served as the chief in the 1999 board. There are eleven other board members.

16 January 2000
A new board of Mudika-KKIS for the year 2000 tenure was formed, with Erni serving as the chief.

11 February 2001
The third board of Mudika-KKIS, whose tenure is for the year 2001, was formed, with Robertus Wahendro Adi as the chairperson.

January 2002
A new logo is created.
It is considered reflecting Mudika more aptly.
