| Maybe next time you find yourself hunting a area that has a fence line around it, you'll keep an eye out for those natural crossings. Even if you hunt private land, where you can cut out sections of the fence here and there to make you own deer crossings. Believe me, where there is a fence, and a way to cross it without jumping, whitetailed deer will always take the easy way out, and that can work right into your hands! I have even seen deer trails cut so deep, that they look like cattle trails crossing a fence line where a creek had washed under it creating a large "V" shape under the fence, the deer trails were worn deep on both sides of the creek bed. |
