The first clubs were formed in the 1950's undr the names of Zetalites, Amicettes and Archonettes. These clubs were composed of young ladies between the ages of nine (9) and eighteen (18) who were matriculating in junior and senior high schools.

These clubs were sponsored by various chapters of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Programs were developed, guidelines established and they became viable links of the Sorority.

The purpose of the Amicette and Archonette Program is to help you grow culturally, socially and educationally. Projects will vary according to your interests and the needs of the community. A project may be of service to the community and develop your special skills at the same time.
The Amicette Program provides activities which provide opportunities:

         To encourage the individual to accept responsibility.
         Develop new interests.
         Work toward creating happiness for others.
         Develop an awareness of the need to share responsibilities
         and to understand e another in order to achieve a common goal.
         Develop your unique personality.

The Mu Delta Zeta Chapter of the Amicettes and Archonettes started in 1997. The Amicettes and Archonettes serve their community by donating food, clothing, and toys to the Battered Women's Shelter, assisting the Mu Delta Zeta chapter in their High Way Clean ups and stepping at various programs (i.e. Salliae Mae Cultrual Daya, Sister's Unite A Black History Celebration, Strut Your Colors Step Show) to promote unity.

The sponsor of the youth is Soror Cheryl Robertson. The current members are:
