Hello, my name is Brenda Muddle, and I've been raising Shetland Sheepdogs since 1980. I started out with a pet sheltie and got hooked on the wonderful things you can do with a sheltie. They are so incredibly smart and eager to learn that you will find each dog has their own goal in life. If you are looking for a pet, obedience, agility, companion or show dog, a sheltie is a good bet for you.
I joined the Canadian Kennel Club and the Shetland Sheepdog Fanciers Club, learned to show and groom, and was soon on my way. I met a lot of people who became my friends and mentors. I am forever grateful
to them for sharing their knowledge with me.
My days for showing came to an end. My job required me to work weekends, and I became very sensitive to powder and perfume. My good friend Carol Williams now does an excellent job of showing my dogs.
I'm a breeder who likes quality not quantity. I breed for myself now, and on occasion have puppies for sale. If you are looking for an adult or puppy, and I don't have any, I can hopefully help you find what you are looking for with other breeders.
