| Ok, here's what you'll need. 1) A winch with at least an 80ft cable. 2) Two tow ropes (25ft each) 3) One snatch block. 4) Two 3/4" d-shackles (not necessary, but preferred.) 5) An audience. |

| Here's what everything will be used for. The big d-shackle connected one of the ropes to the snatch block. The other tow rope and d-shackle are used as a braking system so you don't hit the front of the truck on your way down. | |||||||||||||||||
| First, freespool the line all the way out, ensuring that you have placed the braking tow ropes eye over the winch line. Then, attach the snatch block, big d-shackle and other rope to the line. Attach the line to a high point in a tree, and engage the winch. Thighten it just enough that your truck will lurch forward a little bit. | |||||||||||||||||
| Above is a view of the brake system. If you don't have a tree, have a person slowly tighten the rope when you come down. | |||||||||||||||||
| Finally, HAVE FUN! This system provides a safe and fun method to ziplining. | |||||||||||||||||
