This saga starts off when a mysterious man lands on Earth from outer space. Then, you'll see Goku where he was left off from the amusing Dragon Ball except now he is a grown up and has settled down to raise a family! Goku then goes to a renunion party at Master Roshi's place in the middle of nowhere with his 5 year old son Gohan! When they arrive using the Nimbus (a Cloud) they are renunited with the gang- the ones which were there were Master Roshi, Krillin, Bulma, Pigman and The Turtle. The gang is very shocked to see the strange tail on Gohan as it gave troubles when Goku had one as a youngster! Soon, the Mysterious man appears at the party and gives shocking news! It appears that the man is called Raditz- a Saiyan Warrior and is also the big Brother of Goku but Goku is known to him as Cackorot! Then, Raditz offers Goku to join him and 2 other surviving Saiyans since they are the only ones who survived the Destruction of there 'Planet Vegeta'. Goku declines and so Raditz takes Goku's half Saiyan son Gohan with him as a hostage and would only be returned if Goku destroyed 100 humans! Goku and Krillin try to fight Raditz but are no match at the present time...And so Raditz heads off to the plains to wait for Goku. Meanwhile, while Goku and Krillin are just recovering, the Evil Piccolo arrives which means 2 uninvited guests in 1 day! However, this time Piccolo didn't want to fight Goku but instead wanted to join Goku in fighting Raditz since he wants the planet to himself to rule! Goku accepts and so Piccolo and him head to find Raditz and his son by using a Dragon Ball detector since Gohan has 1 on his hat. Soon enough they find Raditz in the middle of nowhere and begin to fight. Goku and Piccolo (the world's strongest team) think that Raditz shouldn't be too hard to beat but when they start, they aren't so happy. According to Raditz's scouter, their Power Levels read as 340 and 350! The fuuny thing was that the scouter kept saying that Gohan had 730! Raditz's however was a much higher level of 1500!!! The fight was hard and Piccolo's left arm was blown off with an energy beam. Goku was just pumelled senseless! Suddenly, Gohan got really angry and Headbutted Raditz with a power level of 1200!!! It was the best hit so far!Then Goku had to hold Raditz still and told Piccolo to do a Special Beam Cannon knowing that he would get killed too! So Piccolo, with one arm, finished both the Saiyans off with the attack. Then, just before Raditz dies, he meantions that the other 2 Saiyans will arrive in 1 years time looking for the Dragon Balls! Goku was taken to the other world to train at King Kai's and Piccolo took Gohan to train in the woods! Krillin, however had to tell Goku's wife Chi-Chi that both Goku and Gohan will be missing for 1 year! Chi-Chi didn't take it too well. Then, Krillin went to find Yamcha, Tien and Chiao-zu to go and train at Kami's place on a floating island in the air. So, after 1 year of training, the 2 Saiyans arrived! There was a big 1 called Nappa and there was a quite small 1 called Vegeta. They then went to find the Z Warriors to get revenge for Raditz and to ask them where the Dragon Balls are. Firstly, the Saiyans sent their henchmen called Saibamen. Unfortunally, Yamcha was killed in the bout and Krillin got really angry and blow all the Saibamen with a good power level of 2600! Then came Nappa. His strength was unmatchable! He easily gets rid of Tien and Chiao-zu and soon enough Gohan gets an incredible strength of 9000 and attacks Nappa with a Mesenko beam! Nappa then gets annoyed and fires an energy beam at Gohan but is blocked by Piccolo who dies as the result! Krillin is all out leaving the angered Gohan to fight. Unfortunally the young saiyan is no match for Nappa and gets stuck in a position where he is about to be crushed..BOOM! Is this the end? ........No! Goku saved Gohan just in time! Goku then shares a senzu bean with Gohan and Krillin and begins to fight Nappa! Nappa is however no match and is finished off by his own partner Vegeta who is curious about fighting 'Cackarot'! Goku then takes Vegeta to another place to fight for the safety of others! It's an action packed battle with very high power levels of Goku-12,000 and Vegeta-16,000! Goku uses his Kaiyo-ken technique to make him stronger! Soon enough both Saiyans are down and Krillin and Gohan arrive! They help fight the monster but Vegeta won't give up. Gohan however is very strong at this point and fights Vegeta head on while Krillin prepares the Sprit Bomb attack that Goku couldn,t land on Vegeta! The Spirit Bomb is the energy of every living thing in the universe! Krillin then fires but misses! Now it was heading towards Gohan! Goku tells him to bounce the energy back at Vegeta and KA-BOOM! Vegeta is down. Now Kriilin is prepared to finish Vegeta off but Goku tells him to leave him because he respects him. So, Vegeta gets into his space pod and heads off back into space! Goku and the others are then taken to hospital by Master Roshi and Bulma who just arrive after the action packed battle!
