We longed to see the stars not simply because they are
beautiful, but only then when our "suffering" will end. We don't have
our watches with us to know the time, simply because we weren't allowed to.
To some people, we may be admired for pressing on, but to the majority, we may
be fools for the same reason. However, deep inside us, we knew that we were
there simply because the others were there, and we shared the same dream...
I came to realise that time passed so quickly, and I treasured every moment when there was no training. I also realised that time need not be a measure of the depth of our friendship, it was what we had gone through together that really matters. Ironically, I missed the tough trainings, but deep down I think what I really missed was the times when we really depended on one another and came through.
