    MAKCO LTD. is a group of companies which is providing services in engineering / construction and technical services in libya from many years.

    I was acting as Administrator Technical Services and my responsibilities were as follows:

    • Responsible for the smooth running of the Technical Services department.
    • Administration of technical manpower to various cliental sites including oil sectors.
    • Supervising Store, camp and administrative activities.
    • Interviewed/test of the non-engineering candidates and guide them after selection.
    • Preparation of leave schedule of the workers.
    • Preparations & submission of monthly invoice of our technical assistance and follow up with clients.
    • Keep track of the invoices status with all of our clients and reconciliation of accounts with their accounts dep�t. as well.
    • Coordination between clients and the company.
    • Updating manpower status of workers.
    • After getting any demand from the client, inform our office in Pakistan and complete the necessary formalities for the dispatch of selected candidate to our clients.

Previously it was really headache to check the employees have been invoiced or not but after the development of this system, it became very easy to check all kind of information about the employees. .

    J-Tech (Pvt.) Ltd. Lahore, Pakistan

    JGC Corporation formed a new company J-Tech (Pvt.) Ltd. with the collaboration of Descon Engineering Ltd. I was transferred from Descon to this company.

    I was reporting to Head Project Division and my responsibilities were as follows:

    • Handling of all incoming / outgoing correspondence for the discipline by entering them into the system.
    • Organizing the filing system.
    • Responsible to update the company invoicing status.
    • Preparation of various Documents / Charts / Presentation / Reports and Data Base for the department by using MS. Word, MS. Excel, Power Point and MS Access.
    • Looking after all administrative activities.
    • I was the one who is giving guideline to all of the other computer operators/secretaries and document controllers regarding different types of problems in document handling or in computer using. I was also involved in the selection / interviews of newly secretaries / document controllers and then after selection grooming them.

    After the completion of PARCO Mid-Country Refinery Project. Descon appointed me with their Electrical & Instrument Department's Head.

    My responsibilities were as follows:

    • Keeping track of monthly expense of the department.
    • Preparation of invoices.
    • Preparation of various Documents / Reports and Data Base for the Management�s by using MS. Word, MS. Excel, Power Point and MS Access
    • Controlling all incoming / outgoing correspondence using E-mail and Fax.

    JGC Corporation, Yokohama, Japan

    JGC Corporation here in Pakistan has worked on PARCO Mid-Country Refinery Project. They were using the name of Marubeni Engineering Corporation, as they didn't have license. Descon Engineering Ltd. was their sub-contractor and working on detailed design work. I was reporting to Japnese Engineering Coordinator (who lately became President of new Company J-TECH) and working for other five Japnese. Their job was completed on December 31, 1998. My responsibilities were as follows: -

    • Preparation of traveling schedule and hotel arrangements for the personnel.
    • Looking after all sort of administrative activities.
    • Preparation of various Documents / Reports for the Management�s by using MS. Word and MS. Excel.
    • Controlling all incoming / outgoing correspondence.
    • Supervising all filling and related office work.

    Willbros Middle East Inc. Tulsa, USA

    Willbros Middle East Inc. is an International company having it�s joint venture with one of the top class pipe laying companies in Pakistan �Techno Engineering Services Private Limited� to accomplish a project �MFM Pipeline Extension Project� awarded by Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO).

    In April 1997 I joined as Executive Secretary. I was reporting to British Commercial Manager and two other British personnel and later one promoted as office manager. My responsibilities were as follows:

    • Preparation of traveling schedule and hotel arrangements.
    • Looking after all sort of administrative activities.
    • Organizing the filing system.
    • Controlling all correspondence with client.
    • Receive information from the site offices and then forward compile information to our Central Office in Tulsa, USA.
    • Preparation of various Documents / Reports for the Management�s by using MS. Word and MS. Excel.
    • Software / hardware troubleshooting.
    • Update the milestone status after achieving every milestone in MS Access database.
    • Making progress payment as the work progressed in Excel.
    • Receiving Milestones from site offices; update the status and then forward them to PARCO for payment.
    • At the end of every month works with client for the progress payment.

    Cotecna Inspection S.A. Geneva, Switzerland

    Cotecna Inspection S.A. is a Swiss based company and provides the services in the field of commerce, business, finance, economy surveys and inspection services. Here in Pakistan, Govt. of Pakistan was availing the services in the field of Pre-Shipment Inspection on all sort of import. The basic purpose behind this contract was to increase the foreign exchange of the country. This contract was closed in March 1997.

    In March 1996, when company was expanding its operation to come up the growing problems of importers, I joined as Coordinator. My responsibilities were as follows: -

    • Solve the problems of importers regarding their clearance of imports (e.g. wrong Custom Duty, Container Nos. etc. ) by communicating with our affiliate office spreading all over the world.

    • Generation of complete inventory system, which were meant for keeping record of issued CRF(s).

    Pak Board Paper Mills (Pvt.) Ltd.

    In Pak Board Paper Mills I have worked as Computer Programmer. I started working as Ast. Computer programmer. Later one I was promoted to computer programmer. My responsibilities were as follows:

    • Maintenance of computers.
    • Maintenance of databases.
    • Preparation of different kind of reports.
    • Troubleshooting of software / hardware.
    • I was also involved to input all the data in database. I made programs for Leave Record, Store and Personal Records.
