SAIL Camp 2004

All the kids up by Horse Thieves' Cave. I wish I had a really good zoom, cause above us there is a mummified hand from a guy who was killed during a shoot out and the rocks came down on him.

The fifth grade girls had a weird obsession with Tom. This is one of Meghan's girls doing his hair.

The last night all of the cabins did skits. Ou cabin did a game show with travlers that were lost. Lucy and I "narrated" to tkeep the story moving along.

Me on a rock above our dig site

Me at ladling. An at ladle is a Native American arm extender for spear throwing. I successfuly hit the target 2x in a row :) We all struggled along. In the end Mr. Collett threw one and it went really high and about a football fields distance.

Luther with a milapeed. LoL, he sat there couting the legs until our hike got back in motion.

Lucy and I pre-bedtime.

Pretty tree

Tom and I headed up the Native American archeological dig. Mostly we played in the dirt and the kids found a lot of animal bones. One girl found an in tact rabbit leg and was carrying it around o.0 They also found a few pieces of pottery which was what they were loking for in the first place.

We meet up sometime next month to see the kids' end projects, so I might have more pix to share then. Bye all! 1
