Why i think Jesus[p] isn't GOD!
'They disbelieve[in GOD] those who say: "Allah[OD] is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ[Jesus]: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah[GOD], my LORD and your LORD." Whoever associates [gods] with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode and there will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.' [Al-Qur'an 5:72]
That one verse is sufficient for me to conclude Jesus[p] wasn't GOD Almighty but for Christians who have not read or do not consider the Qur'an to be from GOD further evidence may be needed. The following are just a few reasons why i think Jesus[p] isn't GOD;
[Mr 1:1] Jesus[p] is called "Christ" and being the Messiah[p] excludes any Divine qualites.
[Mr 5:30] Jesus[p] feels his power leaving him. Does GOD lose His Power?
[Mr 6:5, 8:22-26] show us that Jesus[p] was not all-powerful.
[Mr 6:46,14:35],[Mt 14:23,26:39],[Lu 5:16] Jesus[p] prayed to his GOD and GOD Almighty prays to no one.
[Mr 10:18] Jesus[p] did not consider himself "good" leave aside GOD. He further emphasised that only "GOD is Good."
[Mark 5:30-32, 11:12-13] Show us that Jesus[p] knowledge was limited and GOD's knowledge is infinite.
[Mr 12:29] "Here, O Israel: The Lord OUR God is one Lord."
[Mr 13:32],[Mt 22:36] Jesus[p] did not know the Hour but only GOD has knowledge of it.
[Mt 4:8-9] Jesus[p] was "tempted" by the Satan and offered worldly kingdom. Though its stupid to tempt GOD with things He Himself created.
[Mt 12:18], [Acts 3:13,26, 4:28] Jesus[p] was a servant of GOD and GOD is not a servant of anyone.
[Mt 13:57,21:11,],[Lu 13:33, 24:19],[John 4:44] Jesus[p] was a Prophet and Prophets are men chosen of GOD and those who call to GOD.
[Mt 26:72] Peter denied Jesus[p], would anyone deny a GOD incarnate?
[Lu 2:52] Jesus's wisdom increased while GOD's Wisdon is infinite.
[Lu 22:43] Jesus[p] was strengthened by Angels and GOD needs no strengthening from anyone.
[John 5:19, 5:30, 8:28] Jesus[p] could do nothing[including his miracles] without GOD's help.
[John 5:31] Jesus[p] own testimony was no good.
[John 5:37] No one heard GOD's voice nor seen his form even though Jesus[p] was clearly seen and heard.
[John 6:57] Jesus[p] only lived because of the Father[GOD] and never the vice versa.
[John 7:16] Jesus's[p] teachings were not his own.
[John 14:24] Jesus's[p] words were not his own.
[John 13:16, 14:28, 1Co 11:3] GOD is greater than Jesus[p] and we know there isn't anyone greater than GOD.
[John 14:31] Jesus[p] was commanded by GOD and GOD is not commanded by anyone.
[John 17:3] GOD and Jesus[p] are seperate beings.
[John 20:17] GOD has a GOD too?
[Acts 2:22] Jesus[p] was a man approved by GOD.
To further insist on Jesus's[p] divinity would be completely senseless, illogical and unscriptural.
