When you choose to follow the classroom rules and procedures, you may expect the following: 1. Verbal praise, smiles, and stickers. 2. A note, phone call or email sent home. 3. Feelings of confidence and pride. 4. Progress in acquiring a second language. 5. Best of all.....you will experience the joy of learning! This will affect your conduct grade. |
| If you choose not to follow the guidelines while in the Spanish classroom, the following consequences will result: 1. One reminder, we all need a chance! 2. Grades 2-3 "dame tu nombre", I'll return it when you show me you are ready. Grades 4-5 "mueve tu broche" to "amarillo". Grades 6-8 "firma 'el libro'". 3. I will call or email your parents if you are on step 3. Grades 2-3 "dame tu nombre", I will keep your nametag. Grades 4-5 "mueve el broche" to "rojo". Grades 6-8 Sign up for"Almuerzo con la Maestra" - Lunchtime conference (10-20 minutes) with Maestra Tere to discuss ways you can do better, usually same day. 4. HFS Detention policy from handbook (page 18) will be carried out. This will affect your conduct grade. |
