Friendships come and go in life... some touch you more deeply than others and leave bigger gaps when they are gone. To quote the Beatles,

Boy, ain't that the truth! Took my introductory flight on February 13, 1999... by the 15th I was a student pilot... Received my private pilot's license November 17, 1999 and bought my Archer in June, 2000. Having the time of my life flying with friends and meeting new people with a similar love for flight.
In 2001, I joined Angel Flight, a network of volunteer pilots dedicated to providing transportation for the purpose of access to medical care or for reasons of compassion. Earned my instrument rating in April, 2002, so I can be of even more service to this worthwhile organization. In 2003, the Ninety-Nines, a not for profit organization of women pilots, awarded me the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship to obtain my commercial pilot's license. Life is good!
