| Most Pharmacy schools require a Pre-Pharmacy student to finish at least two academic years (60 hours) at an accredited college or university before applying to Pharmacy school. About half of Pharmacy schools also require the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT). Each Pharmacy schools has its own procedures and requirements. You may contact the school of interest for further information. Upon admission to Pharmacy school, the student must finish four academic years to obtain the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
