Looney is a Quaker Parrot. He was hatched April 10, 1998. (We share a birthday.) I bought him from a small pet store. He had been hand raised and very well socialized. He has the typical "Quaker attitude" and he is extremely bonded to me. There are a few people that are able to handle him but they are few and far between.
Despite his quirks, he is an adorable and humorous bird. He says quite a few things and has a hysterical laugh. He has a really cute "kissy noise" hees makes that is quite loud. He also makes "raspberries" when he isn't in the mood to play.
He is a DNA'd male. We joke that the above picture of his "EGG"! =) |
