January 1: New Years Day! Shayna is two months old.
January 2: Shayna starts to smile a lot when she sees us. She also coos and talks back to us.
January 9: Shayna grabbed a mobile item.
January 10 & 11: Seventy degrees outside. Shayna and Mom go for long walks during the day to enjoy the beautiful spring like weather.
January 12: Shayna and Mom go to a Mom's group in Charleston from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.
January 13: Shayna giggled a few times when she saw Mom. Shayna and Mom had lunch with Karri and Nicholas at Cracker Barrel.
January 15: First diaper explosion.
January 16: Shayna was on the webcam for both sets of grandparents and Aunt Briana.
January 17: Shayna starts to explore our hands by touching and grabbing.
January 20: Shayna enjoys exploring hands and starts to notice her Elmo guitar.
January 23: Slept for 7.5 hours!
January 25: Slept for another 7.5 hours!
January 26: Fell asleep on her own in her crib. Karri and Nicholas came over for a late lunch/ playtime.
January 27: Shayna and Mom went to the Mothers and More group with Karri. Shayna loves looking at light and sound object.
January 28: Shayna fell asleep in her crib on her own (again)!
January 29: Shayna starts to take little naps in her crib.
January 30: She had her first laugh while playing with her mom. Slept for 9 hours!!
January 31: Shayna and Mom went on a walk around the neighborhood with Karri and Nicholas. Both babies were bundled up because it was 40 degrees outside.
