This two months' stage included a tour whithin two services of the entreprise - service Production Unit Africa and service Ticketing. The aim was to get aquainted with the sales in a multinational entreprise from all its aspects, namely sales to travel agencies (Production Unit) and sales to end-customers (Ticketing). Learning the reservation system AMADEUS was essential for the second half of my stage, in the Ticketing service.

My tasks were to teach the Romanian language to English students at beginner’s level, as well as to translate different English texts into Romanian and Romanian ones into English.

While studying at Exeter, it was my responsa bility to try to contact several travel agencies in the view of collaboration. While at office, except correspondence, the design of the catalogue and drafting the contract with the customers were my responsabilities. Web desing and maintanance was also among my responsabilities.
Skills
Bilingual in German and Romanian (both spoken and written), basic French (spoken). Fluent spoken and written English.
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access, getting on with most programmes that run under Windows. Good working knowledge with the Internet.
Full clean driving licence.
Interests and leisure activities
Music and dancing are some of the areas where I take a great interest. I have been playing the piano for five years.
Reading - I have got aquainted with the Romanian, German and English Literatures, and with some of the French one.
Residence abroad: During my study in England I have been living in Bournemouth (1 academic year) and in Exeter (3 years).
I also take a great interest in travelling. Destinations included apart the UK, one month in Austria in 1990 and several times afterwards, several times to Germany, but also for much shorter periods to Hungary, Turkey, Spain, Malta, Bulgaria and even Tunisia.
