The Mountain Minstrels have been working this winter on new arrangements & new music A female vocalist will be joining our group, we look forward to working with Ellen Larson & know you will enjoy her rich vocals. Our next summer performances in the Buena Vista, Colorado area are June 19th, Thursday concert in Forest Square Park, time 7 PM, free, donations accepted. We will appear in the annual 4th of July parade starting at 10 PM on Bunea Vista's Main Street. The Minstrels will perform a concert in the park following the parade, location for the concert by the Chamber of Commerce builing on Hwy. 24. The Minstrels will perform July 5th, Saturday at the Historic Leadville Co. Tabor Opera House on Harrison Avenue, doors open at 7 PM, concert at 7:30. Our next concert in Forest Square Park is scheduled for July 17th, Thursday at 7 PM. We will up-date this page as we get more bookings.
We had a great time performing for the first annual Independent Film Fest this past Sept. with the most notable performance on board the train in Leadville traveling to the Climax Mine. We met alot of very nice interesting people in the film industry, made some good contacts & hopefully will have some new venues to perform in as a result. Our first CD "My Kind of Mountain" was very well received at the film fest. Our Cd is available through this web-page for the cost of only $10.00 plus shipping of $4.20./strong>
