Game 1: Richland (14) vs. Manheim Township (7)

The first of two games that would be played on June 12th started out slow.  Both teams had a number of hits, scoring a couple of runs in the first few innings.  In the bottom of the fifth inning, with Township down by 2 runs, Shawn Keller blasted a homerun to tie the game at five.  However, in the proceeding inning, Richland would attack back, scoring multiple runs off of Manheim Township.  During the entire two innings that were left, Richland managed to knock in 9 more runs.  Township would only be able to knock in two more, and therefore lost the first of two games.

Game 2: Manheim Township (20) vs. Richland (3)

Jared Ellis started things off for Manheim Township by allowing no runs to score in the first and second inning.  Meanwhile, Austin Gallagher started the game off for Township with a bang.  After breaking his bat in the preceeding game, Gallagher stepped up to the plate in the first inning and hit a two run homerun over the right field fence.  This Homerun put Township up 2-0 in the first inning.  with no outs.  The next inning, Sean Rigney would step up to the plate and knock another two run homer for Township, advancing the score even more.  Township's biggest inning was undoubtedly the fourth inning, in which they scored five runs off of Richland pitching.  Doing the pitching for Township was Andy Dochterman (who replaced Ellis in the fourth inning) and Austin Gallagher.  Between these three pitchers, Richland only managed to score three runs the entire game.  Township had struck back with a vengeance to take the second game by a landslide.
