Manheim Township's third game of the 2004 League playoffs pitted them against the only other team who had not lost a playoff game yet, Lititz.  Dane Yoder took the mound for Township.  Despite many hits by Andy Dochterman (who was 3 for 4 on the night), Jared Ellis, and Dane Yoder, Township did not manage to secure any runs in the first four innings.  Lititz struck first in the fourth inning when an error caused a runner to score from second base.  Consequently, another run would score that inning due to an error.  Township was down 2-0 in the fourth inning.  Township was able to get one run back in the fifth when Jared Ellis lead the inning off with a double.  Josh Bucher then hit a single, scoring Ellis to make the game 2-1 after five innings of play.  In the sixth inning, Township was dealt a crushing blow.  With runners on first and third and only one out, Andrew Smoker hit into a double play to end the inning.  Lititz got themselves two more runs in the seventh inning, making the score 4-1 with Township's last at-bat coming up.  Township did not score any runs in the seventh and lost by a score of 4-1.  With this loss, Township will play Ephrata on Monday, July 19th at 5:00.  Township now faces elimination, but is not out of the tournament yet.
