In the first of two games, MT got off to a good start when Andy Dochterman lead off with a double. Andrew Smoker followed with a single, scoring Dochterman. Township would attain two more runs in the fourth inning when Shawn Keller, who walked, stole second base. Pete Andrelczyk then hit a single, knocking in Keller. Shawn Keller scored Township's fourth run in the sixth inning, when he hit a solo homerun. Although MT's performance at the plate was good enough to get them some runs, their performance on defense fell short. Pete Andrelczyk, who started the game, was pulled after pitching just two innings. He gave up five hits and four runs, walking 3 and striking out 1. Township also committed three errors during these two innings. Jared Ellis, who relieved Andrelczyk in the third, would pitch the rest of the game. In his five innings, Ellis gave up 3 hits and 2 runs, walking 1 and striking out 3. During these innings, Township's infield committed two more errors, totaling five by the end of the game.

George Eager lead off the second game with a solo homerun, putting Township up by a score of 1-0. Township started the second inning with a double by Jared Ellis. Bucher followed with a single, scoring Ellis. Township would secure themselves another run in the third inning. Township scored two runs in the fourth inning when back to back walks to Eager and Dochterman forced in 2 runs. Township would score more runs thanks to base hits by Austin Gallagher and Shawn Keller. On the mound for Township was Brett Conway. Conway pitched 6 innings, giving up 8 hits and 6 runs, walking 3 and striking out 4. When Conway came out after 6 innings the score was 10-6. Austin Gallagher closed for Township in the seventh allowing no runs, no hits, striking out 1.
