What is a ghost? A ghost is the spirit of someone who was once alive. When someone dies a tragic, sudden or unexpected death, there is a chance that the spirit may become earthbound. Another reason for this to happen is when the deceased is unaware of his or her own death. Of course there are also spirits that remain earthbound because they refuse to believe they have died and therefore remain tied to earthly things or people.
How does a ghost manifest? Usually a ghost will draw energy from whatever it can from electrical power to human energy. When a spirit draws on human energy people feel a drastic drop in temperature caused by the draining of energy both from the people themselves and the atmosphere around them.
Human spirits can move objects of course but they can only draw enough energy to apply one or two pounds of force. In other words they might have the capacity to move small or light objects.
