TASK

THE TASK IS TO TRANSFER OUR CLASSROOM INTO A SCIENCE EXHIBIT HALL ABOUT THE SOLAR SYSTEM. YOU MAY DECORATE YOUR EXHIBIT BOARD IN WHATEVER MANNER YOU AND YOUR GROUP DECIDE WILL

ENHANCE (make it look better) YOUR FINAL PRODUCT.

YOU WILL HAVE 5 WEEKS IN WHICH TO COMPLETE THIS TASK.

1. You and your partners are being asked to decide which THREE planets will be included in the EXHIBIT.

2. Each of you will choose ONE planet to work on.

3. Once you have all chosen a planet to work on, each of you will begin to research your planet. You will each be given a folder to keep your work in.

4. Your final product will be an exhibit which will include the following:

¨ A report from each of you.

¨ A graphic representation of your planet. (Each member must complete this part) *

¨ An exhibit board to show off your work.

(You will only need one board for the 3 of you)

*The graphic part of the exhibit can be hand drawn pictures, Styrofoam balls painted to look like your planets, or any other artistic medium you can come up with. Please check with me before you begin this task.
