April posing with the tour guide at the top. I actually wanted him to take a picture of me and April, but there were language complications. |

April reading a book about how awesome the view from our balcony is. I was going to tell her to just look up, but she thinks a book can describe it better. Humph. |

Before leaving, we had an amazing 10 course chef's tasting menu at the Sofitel's French restaurant called Le Pre Catelan. Here was our menu: |
1. Seafood salad & escargot wrapped in phyllo 2. Tomato confit with goat cheese & crustacean salad 3. Quail with foie gras in phyllo with julienne vegetables 4. Champagne passionfruit sorbet 5. Parmesan encrusted white fish 6. Sea bass on potato with leeks & tomato caper sauce 7. Wild boar with pasta, lady finger peppers & artichokes 8. Cheese tray 9. Strawberry mousse with rasberry sauce 10. Dessert medley extra: After dinner chocolates |

Definitely one of our top 3 dining experiences of all time. With the great conversion rate, our meal total only came to about $150 USD. |

Goodbye Rio...maybe we'll see you again someday. Unless April has her way. |
