On the same day as 40 degree weather at Haleakala, we experienced some fine 80 weather at a beach in South Maui.
Ok, this will be the last shot from Haleakala.
Yes we brought our Tevas with us.  Did you know that Teva is pronounced TEH-vah?  Not TEE-vah?  Did you?
April at secret beach in South Maui, daydreaming about being back in Boston.
Wake up April!  Appreciate where you are!  Look behind you!
Of course we did the drive to Hana again. One of the many beautiful views.
Mike and April at the Ka'Anae pennisula on the way to Hana.  This is one of my favorite spots on planet earth.  And there's an awesome banana bread stand here to boot.  p.s. Our image is NOT superimposed on this background.
A red sand beach in Hana.  We met a dude tenting here for the night, a music producer from NYC.  He should stay here.  I would have, if April weren't so intent on returning to Boston.
Taro field on the Ka'Anae penninsula.
Sunrise near Venus Pool outside of Hana town.
April at Venus Pool.
This time through, we stayed in the town of Hana, which is well worth it.  This was the view from our balcony.
