Introduction
"Methodist Church In
Pakistan" (Independent Assembly) Regd under societies Act 1860, Govt. of
Punjab. is the result of constant prayers and
determinations. It feels to bear the witness and testimony to all the earth and
upon the Islands of the sea, that the Lord has born a record to our soul through
the Holy ghost and gave testimony into the world, the lord being our helper, and
his Son, Jesus Christ, that we are permitted to have this privilege of bearing
this testimony that the children of God may be profited in accordance with the
Bible doctrine and Covenants to preach the gospel not only in Pakistan but
"Around the World", as commanded by Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19).
Its by the Grace of our Lord that Methodist Church in Pakistan (Independent
Assembly) has actively started to serve to full-fill her aim for which it was
established to seek and find the lost ones for peace and prosperity for the
extension of his Kingdom. (Amen). Methodist Church in Pakistan came out of the
combination of the methodology of the four constituent churches / dioceses
who lost the identity based on evangelical and Wesleyan Theological Tradition
and became more liberal in Biblical Doctrines and covenants. we preferred to
call ourselves "Methodist Church in Pakistan" "Independent
Assembly" with the Evangelical and Wesleyan Theological tradition to avoid
the divisions, schism and politics and court cases in the Church. Our intentions
are to expend the kingdom of God in the 3rd world as a Biblical way Church in
Pakistan. We also wish to extend our hand of friendship to those who wish to
serve Jesus and wash the feet to the fellowmen who have repented and are
restored for the extension of His Kingdom.
