For this week's article I figured I'd make a block deck on the spot. As I'm writing this I'll design a blue with block deck using cards I have. But first, I need to figure out what my main problems are gonna be. From what pro tour Philly told me, the best cards in block going something like, Cranial Extraction, Final Judgement, Heartbeat of Spring, Myojins and good beef like North Tree.

Ok so I'm doing white/blue (I have more good white/blue cards left because of my type 2 stasis deck I had) Go go gadget Hokori, Orb of Dreams, Eon Hub. Here's a sum up of my rares that are playable.

Not very good but I will go get some more. My uncommons make me feel a little better, 3 Terashi's verdict, 4 otherworldly journey, 1 ghostly prison. And my secret weapon is my saviors. 2 Celestial Kirin, 1 Kataki, 1 pithing needle 1 Sakashima, 1 Oboro.

Ok now I will go and get a bunch of other cards but lets start there.

Ok so far my lack of creatures COULD be a problem but my spells seem to be about finished. I could use another blue spell or two. I think I may have to lose the verdicts, but they kill sliths. Must stop the revenge of the sliths! Nooooo. By the way, Pithing needle = retarded. Retarded good obviously. Go go gadget screw job. (that never gets tired)

I think I'll add some twincast. mmmmm twincast. If you havent noticed I'm trying not to put in weenie creatures, because I like using kirin to blow em up. So I'm gonna slap in 3 twincast and 2 yosei's.

Well it isn't pretty but I have an idea. My sidedeck will be really good with this because I will put in things like Kami of false hope and little spirit/arcane and another Celestial kirin. And a couple Cloudhoof Kirin too. Ok well beside basic land, thats about the deck. So there you go. Building on a budget? maybe not, but block isn't an easy build. So give a block deck a shot and lemmie know on the boards what ya think.
