This article is one of the few that wont be about a deck. It is about the insane cards in Saviours. I'm writing this about five days before the prerelease and I have seen almost all of the cards. First of all, what the hell? Does anyone else know what I mean? These cards are amazing! When the white epic was previewed I told people it isn't great but the other ones could be. I have now seen four of them and HEEEEEEEELLLL yes they are. Red epic burns to anything you want (game ender) Black one cranial extracts them (game ender) and the green one goes ape s*** or should I say squirell s*** flooding out tokens.
Did anyone tell you about ancestral recall v 2.0? That will be 40 bucks, enjoy. The best thing I think about this set is the cycles. I love cycles and how about the kirin. Holy *************! The blue one that got previewed was insane the white one is engineered explosives over and over. Huge cabal therapy on the black one, the red one is bringer of the red dawn and the green is uber life gain. The green Kirin kinda works with the 30 life flip guy too. Who then flips to make all your creatures cho-manno revolutionary's.
IF YOUR OPPONENT IS AT 10 LIFE, KILL EM! is also in this set. And i'm not exaggerating much. Hidetsugu's second rite deals 10 damage to a guy at 10 for 4 mana. So if you don't think this set is insane yet, read the ancestral recall again. The themes in this set are so well meshed too. I am happy to bounce my stuff now, bounce my land, blow up yours. I have to give props to the sakura tribe scout too. Tap put a land in play. He's gonna be a block staple as big as the elder. (not as big outside of block though but still good)
Also love the maro cycle which was just previewed and they are pretty. I do think the Kirin are retarded good but Maro's friends arn't bad neither. Now I haven't seen every card (about 20 I haven't) but I can tell you what is going to be insane and where. Atleast, I think.
