PICS AND BIOS
Carol Bednar
My name is Carol Bednar and I live in beautiful Northeastern Pennsylvania.  I have been a happy employee of Healthscribe for just over a year now.  I returned to college as an adult to pursue my love of writing and graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachlor's degree in English.  I then went on with my medical transcription studies and haven't looked back since.  I love working for HealthScribe and plan to attain my CMT status in 2004.  In my spare time, I am working on my very first novel, thus pursuing my lifelong passion of writing.  I also am a dog lover, as is evidenced by my cocker spaniel, Brandy Noel, the 2001 Mighty Dog dog of the year.  I also assist in the rescue and placement of lost/neglected dogs in my area.  In addition, I love sports, watching pro football, exercising, and I am an avid reader.  Nice to "meet" you all.
Margie Yurt
It's me, Mary Margaret "Margie" Yurt. I have been an MT for 23 years. I was trained at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA. I also worked as an office manager for a trauma surgeon and internal medicine specialist. I am married to a retired USAirways captain, George, and we LOVE to travel when we get the time. We have 5 children and 6 grandchildren ranging in ages from 19 to 2-1/2. Brian, Alexandra, Madison, Caroline, Connor and Sydney. We have 2 children in Chicago, 1 in Baltimore and 2 here in Greensburg. We have a Harley that we love to ride in the summertime. I also love to do stained glass. I enjoy reading and music of all kinds. I love playing games with my grandchildren when they come to stay overnight. I am active in our church and work in the Family History Center as a geneologist on Wednesday evenings. George and I love to cook together trying out different recipes. One thing we buy when we travel is spices from all over the world. We also garden and can lots of food, usually giving lots of it away. That is the most satisfying part, sharing the love.
Elizabeth Trop
I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and now live in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  I am married to a New Englander and we have two children, a 15-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter.  I enjoy reading, listening to music, swimming, walking, traveling and visiting art museums.  I have a degree in art history and have been known to stand in line for hours to get into a special exhibition. I also like to quilt but don't find the time available anymore with full-time work and two busy children. I treasure family and friends most of all and try to keep in touch with them often.
Nancy Fulton
I'm 44 years young and the proud mom of Brittany and Grant, ages 12 and 10. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my children. Horses have always captured my heart and I grew up riding, showing, and jumping horses. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, camping, hiking, and skiing. We have several little critters, including our shepherd/lab Savannah; our rabbit, Angel; and two teddy bear hamsters, Mocha and Cinnamon. We live in Washington State and love it here. I come from a long line of musicians, and would love to have more time to entertain my love of writing and playing music. My background is law, working for many years as a paralegal and eventually decided against going to law school. My last position before entering the MT world was at Boeing working as a Project Manager.
Amanda McPhearson
I'm married, but no kids yet.  I do have a niece and 2 nephews.  My baby, Sandy, is a dachshund-terrier mix and is the reigning canine queen in our county.  Physically, I live in the town where I grew up.  It is a small town in far NE Arkansas, almost in Missouri.  Mentally, though, I'm still in Oklahoma City.  I like hockey (Go Blazers!), shopping, movies, reading, amusement parks, dolphins, Mexican food, and almost anything purple or lime green.  I also teach Sunday school and sometimes children's church.  I hate to cook and am horrible at cleaning, but I love to decorate and paint things (I think I watch Trading Spaces way too much).
Terri Givens
I live in Santa Maria, California with my husband Danny and son Jeff, who is 18 and a senior in high school.  Danny and I have been married for 21 years. I have a daughter, Allie, who is married and due to deliver our first grandchild on or around April 8. I have been a medical transcriptionist for close to 3 years now, and do love this job! (Most days that is!) I also have 2 cats, Timmy and Fiona, and a beagle named Scout. We try to travel as much as we can, having just returned from a great trip to Hawaii. We spend a lot of time at Lake Tahoe, as it truly is one of our favorite places to be any time of the year. We live within minutes of the ocean, so we like to hang out there as well.
