Friends and relatives of Zoe Zorab, who was brutally murdered by armed bandits on August 5, have decided to name a rose in her memory.

The "Zoe Zorab" rose will be registered with the International Authority of roses in theUSA and published in all official publications. The rose will be available at all leading nurseries in South Africa. The Zorab family will select the type of rose and the colour. The Baron Group is spearheading the move to commemorate this lovely, vibrant young woman in this wonderful way. As it is a lengthy and costly exercise to register a new rose, it is endeavouring to raise donations towards the project from family, friends and well-wishers who would like to contribute. So far, R5000 has been collected towards the total cost of R11 400 to register the rose.
