GANGRAPED FOREIGN TOURIST BRIBED RAPISTS NOT TO KILL HER

HERMANUS. - Jan.23 - A foreign tourist was gang-raped in this popular tourist resort in broad daylight on Sunday-- and then had to bribe her rapists with R500 not to kill her.

Police detective-inspector Gavin Luther said the 38-year-old was on a hiking trail close to her lodgings when she was attacked by three men. Two raped her and the three then threatened to kill her unless she paid up. She paid them R500 cash before they fled.
