My brother Steve was born on 23 August 1974 and died on 11 October 2004. He worked for Fedility Guard in Rustenburg. He was the youngest of 3 children and the only son. He was approached by 5 armed men after he loaded an ATM with cash. The box he was carrying was empty. They shot him once through his side, he fell and they took the box. One man stood over him and shot him 5 times in the chest. He died on the scene. I don't think the police will do much about this case. My brother will be another statistic if that. The government lies about the crime statistics in this country. Crime is out of control. Tourists should be warned about the dangers of coming to South Africa. Choose another holiday destination that is safer. South Africa is a haven for crime. You can get away with murder here. Do not come to South Africa!!! It is out of control with crime. The government does not care. Crime pays in South Africa.
