Boys in Burma/Myanmar
Thanks to a contributor from France who sent me these vid-caps from a television special about the Burmese form of Muay Thai.
I don't know much about how this form of martial arts differs from Muay Thai other than to notice that it is being fought here without gloves. I welcome information from anyone who has knowledge on the subject and will gladly add it to the site. Just e-mail me at [email protected]
May 26 info update - I had a response stating that this Burmese variation of Muay Thai is called Lethwei. Also another response noting that the contestants are wearing martial arts grappling gloves.
