This website is a cooperative effort between myself (Adam Reif) and of Michael Mohr. I'm in California, USA and Michael is in Frankfurt, Germany. Michael and I have a lot in common, one being a love for all things Citroën. We love 'em!
I'm the lazy one, so I don't actually do too much, but when Michael isn't mixing Margaritas, he's the busy one, restoring 2CVs, ready for the road. And as luck would have it, he loves coming to America, and has a habit of bringing a 2CV with him when he visits. He has put many 2CVs into good homes, and maybe yours will be included too one day?
In the past, if a buyer is found before the car is shipped, then there is time to add
items to the 2CV that the owner wants to have like special Robri trim, boot extensions, or
boot racks - you name it. Even get a 2CV in the color you want is possible. But of
course for that, you need to plan ahead.
Buying a car sight-unseen can be a nerve-wracking experience. References will be provided upon request; that may help to ease those feelings. These are used cars, however, so they are not really "new" of course. But they have been cleaned and repaired to a very high standard. Many new parts are installed to give you the best running car possible.
A big Citroën event occured in the summer of 2002 in the US called the ICCCR (International Citroën Car Club Rally). Michael and I were both there. Please examine the links below in detail, and contact Michael or myself with your queries.
Another big event in early 2007 - Daniel was born to Michael and Stefanie. Welcome to the world, the newest future 2CV driver!
