Production Notes...
As the adage goes: "In theater, there's usually more drama going on backstage than onstage." In this Kurt Vonnegut comedy, mild-mannered and painfully shy Harry Nash meets the equally shy Helene during a community theater production. However, the Harry that Helene sees onstage is a far cry from the meek man she sees offstage.
This play was made for TV in 1982 and starred Christopher Walken and Susan Sarandon; directed by Jonathan Demme. Our production was performed June 5,6,7,13 and 14 1998
