Salsa from Provida Chat Forum member dawnaudrey I use this as a marinade on chicken. This one is made in the Blender, Quick and easy. Place in blender and blend using mix or chop speed (the less you blend the chunkier it is): 1 can (28 oz) of peeled tomatoes, drained 1/3 - 2/3 of the reserved juice from tomatoes 2 peeled carrots, sliced 1/2 onion, cut (yellow or red) 2-3 jalenos (remove stem) 2 shakes of oregano 3 shakes of sweek basil 1 tsp of minced garlic Add: 1 bunch cilantro (rinse first then cut with scissors into blender) Blend again until cilatro is pulled down into mixture. Try not to over blend. Note that I ususally use the tomato liquid as needed. If mixture is too thick, add juice. Remember once liquid is added you can't take it out.
